PCMCIA This Control Panel will
only appear if you have a PCMCIA slot, normally in
laptops. If you do, this Control Panel allows you to see
what sockets are available and what hardware is attached
to them. You can also change the global settings, like
audible beeps for card removal. All of this is the same
as the Windows 95 support.
Where it differs is in the
additions to the type of PCMCIA hardware supported, which
includes multi-purpose cards, that were made in OSR2.
